Self-etching
> No etching or rinsing is required
Adhesion to the enamel (20 – 25 MPa)
Containes fluorides
Light-curing to 4.5 mm
Application with extra-fine tips
> For application of sealant without material loss
Penetration into grooves and fissures
For the preventive sealing of pits and fissures, utilizing the self-etching technique.
Sealing with Prevent Seal gives protection to the susceptible tooth surface by protecting them with impenetrable resin layer, which prevents the penetration of bacteria.
> Use air abrasion, then rinse the tooth carefully before applying the sealant. There must be no alumina particles left, as they would compromise Prevent Seal adhesion.
> The prepared surface must be fully dry before applying Prevent Seal, which is hydrophobic.
> Contains the camphorquinone photoinitiator. Use a lightcuring lamp which emits between 400 and 500 nm.
